... she's wide-eyed and innocent, but keeps a sharp little switch-blade hidden in her pink faux-leather purse to prick pomposity and pretentiousness. Mostly though she just wants to have a good time. Please note, if you message me and I do not answer it always means I am not at my computer. Even if Stumble shows me as being online (which it sometimes does incorrectly) I may be either wandering aimlessly or hiding in the cupboard to escape my aunt or performing some menial task for the cat ..:)).. ellie .. (P.s. - I don't really 'stumble' in the conventional way. Each page is a different 'theme' so whatever is on the first page isn't what the blog is 'about'.

Playing safe .. (or all that glisters is not gold)

Don't we all love our SU 'friends', sexy bunch that they are ..:)) However the internet in general, and social networking sites in particular, may not be the best place to throw caution entirely to the winds. Just because someone chooses a smiley benevolent avatar does not mean they're a nice person. In fact your safest working assumption is that any personal information provided on an SU blog is interesting but, in the absence of anything to corroborate it, not necessarily factual. Same goes for anything people tell you about themselves here.

As long as you stick to simply posting and reading other blogs you're as safe as houses. Its only when you go beyond that and get into contact with other SU'ers that an element of risk arises. Even then, as long as you're sensible about not giving out personal information to relative strangers or believing everything they tell you its OK. Remember, just because someone asks you a personal question doesn't put you under any obligation whatsoever to answer or satisfy their curiosity. Their curiosity is not your problem. Be firm about all aspects of your privacy if you value it. Just don't be too trusting and be aware that things, and people, aren't always what they seem.
