... she's wide-eyed and innocent, but keeps a sharp little switch-blade hidden in her pink faux-leather purse to prick pomposity and pretentiousness. Mostly though she just wants to have a good time. Please note, if you message me and I do not answer it always means I am not at my computer. Even if Stumble shows me as being online (which it sometimes does incorrectly) I may be either wandering aimlessly or hiding in the cupboard to escape my aunt or performing some menial task for the cat ..:)).. ellie .. (P.s. - I don't really 'stumble' in the conventional way. Each page is a different 'theme' so whatever is on the first page isn't what the blog is 'about'.

SU can change you .. and you can change it
Its a strange place is SU. During my time here I've felt like Alice in Wonderland at times. There are some amazing people and there are some extremely weird ones too. I hope you meet lots of the former and not too many of the latter, but whatever you do SU *will* change you if you're around any length of time .. and you might change it too!
SU has a worldwide membership that currently exceeds 5 million, I think, and I regularly see people visit this site from every other part of the globe. In fact if you sit here long enough (and I sometimes do) you can see 'waves' of other nationalities visiting at different times of the day as the world turns and other countries get out of bed or finish work. Its therefore very much a global cultural mix and exposure to that for any length of time is bound to change all but those with the most closed minds. Wherever the servers or developers of SU happen to be located, its not culturally an American or English or any other nationality site. Its a worldwide community so its best to hang-up any 'national' prejudices before you log-on and be mindful and respectful of the cultures of others. Thats not to say hide your opinions or national identity, far from it, just don't think its all about your particular patch of the planet. Its not.
As regards changing SU, well the software that runs it is almost incidental. SU is all about the people like you and me who use it. We are the ones who put in countless unpaid hours creating (hopefully) interesting sites and offering feedback that improves the software. Without us SU is absolutely nothing and we have every right to be treated with respect and consideration by those running it and to have our opinions listened to respectfully. A good place to learn from others and get your own views across is in a suitable SU forum. Start with the Help Forum if you're not sure about something or have a problem. If you think the system is being flaky them the Bugs Forum might be the place to go or for general discussion about SU you could try the Stumbleupon Forum. Check them out and sometime look though the list of other SU groups/forums too .. the choice is amazing.
